I'm Dan King. I'm a web developer, trombone player and technology enthusiast living in Syracuse, New York. Formally trained in the art of computer science, I've been creating uniquely interesting and inspiring designs backed by clean, elegent and optimized code since 2001.

The Company

Design Elemental is a Syracuse, NY based web development and design studio run by Dan King. We have a passion for modern, simplistic design and with the wonders of CSS we create uniquely interesting and inspiring designs. Our aim is to consistently develop innovative yet practical designs, allowing ease of navigation and usability. Our focus is on building designs that will last; by structuring our code to the latest W3C standards, keeping html code neat and logical while not in any way straying from aesthetics.

This Site

This web site was built using Photoshop, Zend Studio and utilizes the Prototype javascript library. It is powered by our very own, SiteManagr, a simple content management system built on the CodeIgniter PHP framework.
